Kosmas Kakouris, 20, was found at dawn on Saturday, June 17, at a rural location in Kavrochori, Heraklion, Crete, when a resident of the Kalesses area heard voices from the fields and informed the police.
The student finally was found by men of EMAK rescue team with a specially trained dog. He was after transported by ambulance to the hospital for precautionary purposes.
Kosmas studying in Portsmouth, Great Britain, had returned to Heraklion for his vacation. He left his house without taking his mobile phone with him and his traces were lost on Friday evening, June 14th.
The mobilization of the Authorities and the inhabitants of Heraklion to identify it was moving, while for its disappearance an announcement was issued by “Smile of the Child”.
