No accomplice was found in Caroline’s murder

The main investigation carried out by the 12th Athens investigator in the case of the murder of 20-year-old Caroline Krauts on May 11, 2021 by her husband Babis Anagnostopoulos, inside their house in Glyka Nera, was completed on October 13.

Now, the case is expected to be referred to the court and the time of the expected trial to be determined. After the apology of the accused at the end of June 2021 and after the investigator conducted his investigation and completed the material of the case file, the lawyer of the 33-year-old pilot was summoned in order to sign the end of the investigation.

From the latest information that the investigator expected from the lifting of telephone and banking secrecy, there was no evidence to require the additional apology of the accused or further investigation into the case, which is officially closed. In this way, the ongoing investigations into any accomplice of Babis Anagnostopoulos in the murder are completed with a negative result.

No documents for the mobile phone or the camera were sent to the investigator by the company in China. The lifting of banking secrecy seems to have resulted in low-cost card transactions for both 20-year-old Caroline Crouch and the 33-year-old pilot for house expenses.
