Caroline’s mother was given temporary custody of her baby

The temporary removal of parental responsibility from the pilot and the temporary assignment of custody to Caroline’s mother was decided by the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the prosecutor’s order, the parents of the pilot have the right to visit little Lydia 5 days a month at her place of residence now, that is, Alonissos, between 10 am and 2 pm.

Copies of the file are forwarded to the Volos Prosecutor’s Office, which will supervise the regular monitoring of the case.

The decision is provisionally valid until the civil courts decide. The case is scheduled to be heard within 30 days, either following appeals that may be filed by the two families, or ex officio by the juvenile prosecutor.

The decision was made with the aim of ensuring the normal physical and psychological physique of the child.

Caroline’s family had asked for the exclusive custody of 11-month-old Lydia, to raise the baby with his grandmother in Alonissos.

On the other hand, the family of the husband-killer had asked for the custody to be shared between them and Caroline’s mother, and in particular, for the child to stay in Athens in the winter and in Alonissos during the summer months, a request that was not accepted.
