The body of a man was found in a well near the immigrant structure in Perigiali, where 40-year-old Costas Daskalou had disappeared.
According to information, near the well was the phosphorescent jacket of the Municipality of Kavala that he wore when he disappeared. An EMAK team is expected at the scene to retrieve the body and identify it. The water from the well has already been pumped by the Fire Department.
It was preceded by searches by men of the Fire Brigade but also by the Reserve Paratroopers Association in other wells in the wider area. Fears are expressed that the corpse belongs to the missing municipal employee.
